Join in the fun and friendship – gather a group of friends and set out on a journey to nine of the best southeast Queensland Quilt Shops. From the April 1st to 30th each shop will be on the lookout for Quilt ‘Trailers’ – carrying your special passport will ensure you receive the VIP treatment.


You need to arrange a passport so you’ll be ready to go in April. Passports will be available after the 15th of March at the participating shops. You have until the end of April to complete your tour of all nine shops. At each shop when you make a purchase you get your Passport stamped and when you spend $10 or more you even receive a FREE GIFT!



After you’ve collected your passport you need to take a bit of time to consider your wardrobe. The outfit you choose plays an important part in your Quilters Trail experience. Although you’re free to wear whatever you desire, it is tradition to reflect the Trail theme in your garb. Whatever you wear have FUN!

Once you’ve finished the Quilters’ Trail and collected all the passport stamps you’ll be entered into the prize draw – With prizes worth thousands of $’s and more. There’s always plenty of fun and surprises to be had on the Quilters Trail. To finalise the event and draw the prizes come to the Quilt Trail Muster!

The Quilters’ Trail starts on the 1st April and will run until the 31st April.

WHAT IS THE QUILTERS’ TRAIL?

The Southeast Queensland Quilters’ Trail started in 2004, when shop owners decided to promote the textile industry and provide their customers the ultimate unique Trail experience full of fun project, prizes and enthusiasm.

The Quilters’ Trail is made up of nine exceptional Patchwork shops, Cooroy Drapery, Patchwork Angel, Caboolture Sewing Machines & Patchwork, Heavenly Patchwork, QuiltEssentials, Patches Indooroopilly, Patchwork Tree, Sew Creative, and Twilight Crafts. “The Quilters’ Trail is held annually in the month of April, and promotes co-operation amongst quilt shops, to bring the City to the Country and verse-versa. The Quilters’ Trail success comes from the partnerships, friendships and co-operation forged amongst quilt shops owners!

The Quilters’ trail is committed to the preservation of this historical craft of traditional quilting. We would like to invite you to drive along Quilters’ Trail and enjoy the beautiful countryside of South –East Queensland. The Trail is a very scenic driving tour of approximately 393kms, which can take 6 hours and 57mins and to complete from Cooroy in a round trip to Morayfield can be done over two Trips at a leisurely pace.

Or for the bona fide trailer who is chasing the Ultimate Trail experience join one of our shops bus trips for even extra fun! From the April 1st to 30th each shop will be on the lookout for Quilt ‘Trailers’ – carrying your special passport will ensure you receive the VIP treatment. Take a break from the trail and come in and have a cupa!
